This charging tablet holder is made for the Lenovo Tab M8 4th Gen without a case. It is moulded to the shape of the device, so it docks and releases with one hand and stays firmly in place on rough roads.
Power comes from the included cig-plug charger, or it can be hardwired into the vehicle to keep the 12V socket free. A tilt swivel turns the screen from portrait to landscape and angles it away from glare. A built-in key lock secures the device in the holder.
It is the holder on its own. The AMPS pattern plate on the back fits ClicOn dash mounts as well as our pedestal, headrest, bar and forklift mounts, so the same holder can move between a vehicle and a workstation. Consider the weight of the tablet and how firmly the mount holds it before choosing a dash mount.
Please note: This Holder connects directly to the vehicle's power system?Output 5 Volts. A professional installer is recommended. Mounting a Tablet onto a ClicOn Dashmount is always done at the customer's own risk. Consideration should be given to the position and how firmly the dash mount holds the weight of the Tablet.

Below you will find the installation instructions for the Key Lock Hard Wired Charging Holder (SKU:736349), you can click on the images to open a larger version in a new tab
1. Loosen the screw in the centre of the holder so you can remove the tilt swivel attaching plate on the back. Place the attaching plate in the desired position. Screw the attaching plate into place with the enclosed screws. Place the holder over the attaching plate so the screw fits in the hole in the tilt swivel. Screw the holder onto the attached plate. Tighten the screw so the holder is firmly in place but still can be adjusted.
2. Slide the device sideways carefully into the holder. Press the lock sideways onto the left part of the holder. Press the button to lock.
3. Use the enclosed key to open the lock. Remove the lock by sliding it sideways away from the holder. Slide the device sideways out of the holder.
4. The holder is in place. Switch between portrait and landscape modes by turning the holder into the desired position.
