How to attach a dashmount to a dashboard

Attention: This ClicOn consists of two parts.
Part 1: Attaching piece
Part 2: ClicOn faceplate

 

  • 1. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap between the center console panel and the dashboard.

 

  • 2. Peel off the cover of the adhesive tape on Part 1 and press the angled edge of Part 1. into the gap above the gap opener. Push Part 1 away from the steering wheel, so the angled edge of Part 1. hooks under/behind the console frame and the adhesive sticks to the dashboard.

 

  • 3. Press a screw driver through the holes in the faceplate on Part 2 to open them up. Peel off the cover of the adhesive tape on Part 2. Place Part 2 onto Part 1. so the holes match up and the adhesive tape on Part 2 is on the left side, not attaching to the center panel. Screw the enclosed screws into the holes in Part 2. Press the ClicOn towards the center console so the adhesive tape attaches.

 

  • 4. The ClicOn is in place.
