How to attach a dashmount to a dashboard

Please read all of the instructions and look at the pictures before attaching the ClicOn.

 

  • 1. Press the thin end of the enclosed gap opener into the gap between the center console frame and the dashboard, to widen the gap. Peel off the adhesive tape covers on the ClicOn.

 

  • 2. Hook the angled edge on the lower part of the ClicOn under the upper edge of the air vent.

 

  • 3. Press forward on the ClicOn and hook the angled edge on the upper part into the gap next to the gap opener. Press down on top of the ClicOn so the angled edge goes all the way into the gap. Pull out the gap opener.

 

  • 4. The ClicOn is in place.

This mount is great, I found that I did not need to use the peel on sticker. It seems to sit there quite well without it. A word of warning make sure you follow the instructions for fitting it to the letter. Make sure you put it in the air con vent first, it initially appears not to fir into the gap on the console frame but once you insert the gap opener it opens the gap enough for the mount to click in.
